“And what are we doing if we are not doing God’s will?” - St. Vincent de Paul
Annual Trips:
Our High School Youth Group, annually, participates in the following events:
March for Life Pilgrimage (in January)
Steubenville Conference (in Summer)
Summer Mission Trip (TBD)
Please note that all of these events will have additional costs and fees associated with them that participants are expected to cover.
Throughout the year we (typically) have several smaller retreats and service opportunities as part of our youth group programming.
Many of these smaller events are low-to-no cost for participants, yet provide boundless opportunities for growth in faith, service, and care for our neighbors. The service opportunities are ways for high school students to earn service hours, while retreats are opportunities to spend days away from the rest of the world in prayer, reflection, and community with one another.
These include:
Fall Kickoff Retreat (September)
Trunk or Treat Assistance (Service opportunity - October)
40 Days for Life (October)
Born to Run (November)
New Year Retreat (January)
Parish Picnic/Easter Egg Hunt Assistance (Service opportunity - March or April)
Middle School Youth Group Retreat (service opportunity - TBD)
Summer Volunteering (day-long opportunities throughout the summer to serve at local facilities; TBD)
Summer Mini Retreats (June & July)
More details will be posted about each of these as we monitor the COVID-19 situation.
Our Patron Saints for the Volunteering & Trips part of our youth ministry programs are St. Vincent de Paul, St. Katharine Drexel, and St. Raphael.
