This Lent, we will meditate on the writings of St. Josemaría Escrivá, author of the spiritual classic The Way. Together, we’ll hear Escrivá’s powerful advice and spiritual direction brought to life through the story of Servant of God Takashi Nagai, a Japanese Catholic convert who miraculously survived the atomic bombing of Nagasaki in 1945. In a moment he lost everything, but through it he surrendered himself and his city to the Lord.

Who Will I Hear From in This Year's Pray40?

Here are all of the incredible folks joining us in this year’s Lent Pray40: The Way!

• Jonathan Roumie, who portrays Jesus in The Chosen, takes us through powerful reflections and prayers on The Way and A Song for Nagasaki during the week
• Join Mark Wahlberg on Fridays as he leads us in fasting, discipline, and surrender to push us closer to the way Jesus set before us
• Mark will be joined on Fridays by one of the most outspoken Christians in Hollywood, Chris Pratt, as we draw inspiration from Scripture to give our hearts fully to Christ
• Hear the word of God brought to life every Sunday with powerful homilies from Fr. Mike Schmitz, host of the #1 Christian podcast Bible in a Year
• Sr. Miriam James, S.O.L.T., will guide us in imaginative prayer on Wednesdays through powerful moments in the gospels to help us really offer our hearts to Jesus
• Meditate in silence on Saturdays with guidance from Cardinal Robert Sarah to find peace amidst the noise of the world

Go to the App Store on your smartphone, search for "Hallow," then download the app

How do I join our Parish Community Page? 

Open the Hallow app, navigate to the Community tab (bottom of screen), search for our parish by zip code (70809), and join.

By getting on the Community page, you take part in something bigger than your own personal prayer journey through the sessions. You join our common journey together as a parish family.

What are Prayer Challenges? 

Prayer Challenges are ways to build a habit of daily prayer together as a parish family. We will announce each Prayer Challenge and you can access them on our Community page in the app after you have joined our Parish Community.
