Read the daily quote from Pope Francis

God is present

“Those who, in faith, entrust themselves to the guidance of the Holy Spirit come to realize how God is present and at work in every moment of our lives and history, patiently bringing to pass a history of salvation. Hope is the thread with which this sacred history is woven, and its weaver is none other than the Holy Spirit, the Comforter.”  — Pope Francis

Reflection: Imagine your life, your personal history of salvation, as a woven cloth. Are there two or three threads — habits, beliefs, experiences, feelings, etc. — that seem to hold everything together? Do you see God’s presence in this cloth of your personal history? How? If not, invite the Holy Spirit to help become aware of God at work in and through you.
